Trib and I would like to announce the birth of our son James Michael Epling. He was born around 1:30 in the morning and weighed in at 7.9 pounds and is beautiful and perfect in everyway.
We had had 2 false labors before so when she made it into the hospital the doctor didn't pay to much attention. Trib was adamant that this was "IT" but they kinda shrugged it off and didn't give her any of the medications she asked for. However, they perked up when one of the nurses finally noticed she was at 9 centimeters dialation.
They finally wheeled in a gurny to take her to the delivery room (and told her it was now to late for an epidural even though she had been asking for one the whole time) and trib told em it was to late for the gurny too and gave birth right then and there. The doctor made it into the room just as the shoulders came out.
Fortunantly everything went exceptionally well from that point on. Rarely cries, sleeps the VAST majority of the time and loves a boobie snack between naps (almost like Elg but less crying). Will post pictures soon.
