Personally, i am super excited to hear about this. I love raiding but my work schedule changes weekly to the point were most weeeks, I have to completely rearrange my sleeping schedule just to take part in AH raids. Even though I havent been able to use the CoL connection much, I love that the option is available in the event I have the time, without an overwhelming committment on my part. Now that we are going into this venture with RoV, I am excited that I may have the opportunity to part-take in some higher tier raids, even if the option for loot is unlikely. Bringing something back to AH that may help us progress further is something I look forward to especially since I am only 5 aa's from hitting 1k. Also, the raids they are doing would help flag many for the the OMM raids, thus increasing the possibility of earning more loot for those interested.
I just want to add: Thank you AH leadership for keeping an open mind and for establishing these relationships that help to benefit everyone. You all are doing an amazing job!

It was a lot of fun. I am glad this happened. It is great to have so many options for fun, adventure, and gear! Thanks to all who make this possible.

Yes, thanks AH leadership for all you guys/gals do.

Also, what is RoV's raid times CST? I would like to see if this would even be an option to my playtime at all.

Thanks,

Does this include CoL members who are members of AH in the picking?

Sounds great to me. More raids for people who just want to try and hit a target if their playtime is erratic.

As for who you choose, I have no issue if you choose AH officers or SLers all the time. You guys are the ones who were here, are here and hopefully will be here the most. You can learn targets and gear up so AH has leaders that can not only lead the raids for these targets in the future, but survive them themselves.

Why would you choose people who either have sporadic playtime on AH raids, or that are more concerned with their guilds lockouts than AHs lockouts. Dont get me wrong I am one of them, LOV lockouts come first, so I have no issue with you sending a AH ranger instead of me. even though I would enjoy the experience of seeing the new zones, learning the event and of course as with everyone have the chance at uber rots. It just makes sense because it strengthens the AH raids more of the time, than just the 2 nights I may be able to make it.

I would just hope that the RLers learn the targets and then stop doing the RoV raids when they think AH can handle them on AH time. That way we can attempt them as AH and not just guests of someone.

I think the one main concern that Raz had that makes sense is the fact that AH might miss out on a AH attempt at things like FoS or Kith, if a lot of the people who could make the attempt have a lockout from a joint raid, like a CoL one. I would prefer to see AH, and be able to help them if I am able, succeed on these raids not help another guild do them. Dont get me wrong, if AH cant handle them (UF,Tower) then helping another guild do them is a great idea. But if AH can, it just takes away from targets that AH could hit for its members.

Unless of course we dont have enough nights to hit more targets anyways, then its all rather moot. That is something for the AH leaders to determine overall though, I am here to have extra fun when I can

Folks, the goal here is simple. Allow AH folks more opportunities. We're still working out the details.

As for recruitment, that's a given. If you're good, RoV is gonna make a pitch. I don't have a problem with that. Look at how many of our folks are in Fu/RoV atm.

My goal is to improve AH as a WHOLE, and this does that.

Folks that want to move on, are GONNA move on.

Those that want to raid with AH, WILL raid with AH.

Already we're running into lockouts (again) with LoV (their allies). This deal can help AH.

Folks, I'm doing EVERYTHING I can think of to ensure AH continues to expand, and ensure our members grow.

just my 2 cp.

Elric, you and the other AH officers are doing a great job. I'm not trying to start trouble on this thread or anything like that. I just wanted to voice some concerns which you guys may or may not of thought of. You guys have done a great job clarifying and I thank you for taking the time to respond to someone who only has 4, maybe 5 posts? But either way, hopefully I'll be able to get in on some more raids soon and see you guys in game, not just on a forum.
