Some were talking about the fix for this last night. If you could let me know how and what to do to get rid of these, I would GREATLY appreciate it!! _________________ Priestess Kyressia Nefandus

get the old EQGraphicsDX9.dll and put in your eq folder
and change your shortcut to bypass the patcher:
"C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme _________________

Yeah you need the old EQGraphicsDX9.dll dated like 3/14/2007. If you need it again I have posted it up on a site of mine at Download EQGraphicsDX9.dll Be sure to save it and not run it. Also you can let the patch run and then copy that DLL file back to your Everquest folder after it's finished. Btw just to be secure and put a disclaimer on this. The file size of both files are about the same at like 1.23mb so be sure you are getting a good file.
Edit: Just to add to this. When you download it the date will change. Well actually the date gets changed when it's uploaded to the website but anyway. Here is what you need to know to tell the difference. Old EQGraphicsDX9.dll files size is 1294336 and the stick man EQGraphicsDX9.dll files size is 1298432. Just right click and properties to see the exact file size.
I would have thought they would have removed the sticks by now. Hope this helps. _________________ Sorcier |

How would i fix my shortcut if I just use the one in the start menu? (its just a single EQ thing at the top of it, not through windows explorer or anything) _________________ Priestess Kyressia Nefandus

right click it and select properties. In the Target: field, change it from "c:\eqfolder\everquest.exe" to "c:\eqfolder\eqgame.exe" patchme
(substitute c:\eqfolder with where ever you have eq installed of course)
and don't forget to change it back once they fix it, or next time they patch eq will just crash. _________________
