I had a good idea think mabe we can start up a AH member of the month program i will let officers decide what reward should be but a few sugestions are some DKP as a reward and or some plat or some kind of loot
requirements to be noninated are # of raids atended and some other things like that
i hope you all like this idea but it is up to the leaders of AH but think it is a great idea mabe more people will show up on raids hoping to get nominated _________________

Dido this idea has some appeal. I dont think it could be used for new recruitments as much as for rewarding members/veterens.
I think how we would have to implement it would be to post a poll every day after the previous raid and have ppl vote on who the mvp was. The only issue with that is perception. Folks are so focused on what their job is they seldom see the bigger picture of what goes on. This actually means you would have to put every raiders name down every day and see at the end of the week who got the most votes.
Again while it sounds like a good ideal it also sounds like alot of work.
If enough people like this idea and IF someone wanted to be in charge of this program I would be happy to support it. _________________ Laenyani

This does have some interesting potential, but I do feel that some feathers may get ruffled overtime. Some people may see favoritism and that is definitely a moral killer AH does not need. I don't know though, it is just speculation.
There are many paths that can be taken with this kind of idea though. MVP being one, most funniest death award, etc.
I know...most funniest death would always be won by ranjurs _________________

The best player of month should be whoever kills Elric more times (raid or groups) _________________

This is a pointless award as I would get it every month *nod nod* _________________ The best leaders use the carrot and the stick. When elg does use the carrot, it's to pistol whip tanks into compliance |

The winner should be the last one standing in a full AH Arena throwdown. _________________

While this sounds like a fun idea and I am all for fun. I am totally against using a monetary or dkp reward for the same reason that was already mentioned. This has the potential to really cause ruffled feathers, especially if someone feels overlooked all the time while someone else wins alot. Bad juju in my book if your trying to balance moral over all. More than willing to do something like this as long as both the concept and reward are fun and dont put anyone else out... _________________

i think this would cause too much infighting and hurt feelings. everyone who raids thinks they are important to the raid (and they are) and many of them get over looked. i think on average the same few people would get voted for over and over and it would be a pupularity contest and that goes no where fast.. or no where good at least. _________________ And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
