SOE is down for the moment (hopefully not long), but they have posted a bit about it.

They released this earlier today.

This is worth taking seriously.

They also posted this. It's an excerpt from a post that mostly covers the same ground as the other post.

"SOE will grant customers 30 days of additional time on their subscriptions, in addition to compensating them one day for each day the system is down. It is also in the process of outlining a "make good" plan for its PlayStation®3 MMOs (DC Universe Online and Free Realms). More information will be released this week."

Nothing yet as to when things will be back to normal though. I spoke to a senior SOE employee who is a friend of mine and he didn't know when things were going to come back up.
