I plan on hosting 24 person raid sunday night, normal raid time. Want to try and kill Kellak in vergalid. Meet in Sunderock, will need at least 3 clerics or won't be able to do it.

| I'll be there, but we'll need a few good tanks (looks at elg) and some of our better healers. This is a progession raid, but there is also loot in the 340-370hp range. |

The hardest part of raid is supposed to be getting to the raid mob....it's a long crawl with trash that hits for 4Kish. We will need a real puller, singles and GOOD tanks on trash with appropriate healers.
The named hits for around 6K max and has a fair amount of HPs. He has two AoEs, but they are interuptable and resistable (magic and, er, poison maybe?). He spawns 4 adds that are powerful gimp at around 50%...they are snareable, mezzable and only hit for around 900 max. I suggest we nondmg lock/mezz those and keep full burn on named.
That's about it....it's a burn fight that should be fairly easy. We'll need decent healers (prolly 3-4 cleric loop) and a good tank. Spread your healers out for the AoEs and prolly have the raid trigger infusion. |

I tanked the mob fairly well (to about 60%) with a 3 cleric loop and some druid blasts. Max hit on me was 5500, but I only had one over 4500 and most were in the 2500 range (min of 1Kish). Elg with defensive would gimp it fairly well imo. Also, there is a slashing bonus that grows as the mob's health drops (which I forgot last night) so using slash weapons is best.
As for location - The named is in the second large water area straight out from ZI. You need to clear all the way to him (kinda lengthy) and clear EVERYTHING in his room (4K hitters make baby jesus cry). The turtles in the water areas can see invis (everything else doesn't) and they have a HUGE aggro range (if you can see them, they can see you), so use caution pulling.
We didn't get to the adds at 50%, but they are super gimp (900 hitters) and mezzable, so, ideally, I would aoe them when they pop and let the chanters mezz them...they depop when the named dies.
The raid is very doable imo and has loot worth farming (not to mention it opens up another 54 person raid for us to lose).

So, a good chanter, or two, would be nice plus a bard puller that can get singles quickly (they corpse camp FD pullers fyi).
Points of interest :
1) HUGE and I mean HUGE aggro range on the trash......raid MUST stay tight and let the puller direct the raid.
2) Use infusion because the nasty 6k aoe is resistable.
3) Bring slash weapons.
4) Make sure you assign a trash tank(s) and have appropriate healers for mobs that can do 4K/hit.
5) Have a solid CH loop and have others ready to blast (6k/hit can lead to spikey damage).
6) Puller needs to be very aware of what is around...the turtles hide in the water and will see you long before you see them....a pull team would likely be best.
