After Hours Raiding Forums-viewtopic-Evaluations and Hastened Membership

In Short
Each night you raid the SL(s) in your group(s) will write an evaluation about you. You will either receive a +1, 0 or -1 for your overall performance on the night. After having at least +10 you will be eligible for promotion and there will be a vote on you. All of this happens in private and you won't be able to see your Evals or the vote. You can, however, improve your chances of promotion and this post will help you do just that.

Typical mentions
Bad:
- Missing tells
- Acting against the strats (opening doors they shouldn't, not shrinking etc)
- Speaking in /rsay (MTs, MA, MGBs and a few other things are exceptions)
- Stealth AFKs
- Sending a tell to the Raid Leader
- Neglecting to announce you're an app (typically this means no eval at all)
- Dying too much
- Failure to control agro (for dps that's appearing on the HoTT, for tanks the opposite)
- Failure to control pets
- Not being able to shrink/invis/IVU
- Missing Audio Triggers
- Training

Good:
- Being vocal in group say
- Casting the right spells/AAs/clickies
- Following directions
- Performing role very well (ie pulling/dps/tanking/healing)
- Asking good questions
- Being nice
- Buffing without being asked
- Simply following the rules

Pretty much if you don't cause problems and follow all the rules, you will get a +1. If you fail to follow the rules, miss instructions, cause problems, or produce extra work you will get a -1. A score of 0 generally means a mix of the two, but too many mistakes in a night will usually mean an overall -1 regardless.

Needless to say, being the first person to the OTM spot or high on the DPS list is a small factor in your overall eval score for the night.
