Well well well.......WTF.....

Im back to post my update. For those of you that dont know me Im ChefChopper. I used to raid w/ all these crazies here in AH....I USED to live in Louisiana.

From a first hand perspective the GUlf South REGIONAL economy has died. So, in order for me and my family to prevail I packed up my "turtle shell" and moved west And have landed in Beaumont, Texas. It's very ironic, because my wife has been all but begging me to move there. I must say aside from having only a few clothes that we packed up the transition has been a very good experience. We're staying w/ my wifees friend, and we have found an apartment. Oh yeah, I guess being a chef has REALLY paid off because it only took me 2 hours to find a job over here. So, things are gonna be AIRE!!!

One word on the Texans......You are truly an amazing bunch of folks!!!
Only the Louisianaians hospitality could be eclipsed by the Texans.

Our house in Hammond......Its north of N.O. ....The town as a whole recieved extensive damage but our house was spared as was all of my family that stayed in N.O during the hurricaine. They're acctually staying AT my house....lol....they have hot running water but no electricity....grrrr
They will have power in a coupla days....its a hot mutha fu---shut yo mouth!!!

I will say this about storms of this callibur...DO NOT MESS W/ MOTHER NATURE!!!! the immages of the wind and rain that they show on the Weather Channel & news DO NOT accurately describe what actually takes place. I'ts MUCH worse.

Keep your prayers comming, cause there are people that have it alot worse than we do.

BTW....Im thinking of reactivating my acount to come back & play. When things settle down you might see me again...who knows.

Peace love and chicken grease

Chopper

PS. Cell # is 985 351 1805 I wanna hear from you people!!!!!

You might get through...if not leave a voice mail

Glad you're okay Chef. Me and the SL were discussing who was in the path of that storm and your name came up, so I was worried.
