Don't think PoR is for "us"....imo, it's gonna be more like GoD in that it's 99% raid content or content beyond our equipment level. That or it will be a LoY type expansion which will just suck for everyone. Either way, my expectations are kinda low on this one.

When a new expantion comes out I tend to wonder what disguise my new snare will come in the form of, or perhaps my new Damage shield, or my fire nike that seems to loose DD/Mana ratio....

If only they could think up new stuff instead of putting a new skin on a kyv and calling it a Gyv, or figguring out a solution to the screeching halt the game comes to when you are low on on particular class (shrouds are not it IMO)...

I think they have a suggestion board in the men's room for "new AA Ideas" - the coversation would sound like:

Drunk Developer #1: I bet we could get someone to spend 30 hours getting 40 AA to max out Innate LFG VI - so the first tell for a group ports them to the group (refresh timer of 12 hours)

Drunk Developer #2: nah better make that 10 levels with a 26 hour rfresh , pass the tequila...

I will buy it just for the bank slots, just like I bought DoN just for the guild lobby. I do think they should limit expansions to at least every year or longer and fix the current and long lasting BUgs that have been a constant thorn for a long time.

por is going to be a higher(really high) end content expansion.

ill be buying it for the lore involved, dodh had absolutely nothing to do with eq, therefor did not bother buying it.

and if your wondering why the expansions are being pumped out so fast, its because guilds are pounding through them, and upon death of the end guy a PR spam begins announcing the next exp.

this PoR was announced for release within 24 hours of Mayongs first death.

PS:

why is mayong a god now? he used to be demigod(god but not immortal)....

I will buy PoR because of the added bank slots, that is mainly the reason. The other stuff that comes with the expansions is nice but the basic reason will be the bank slots. I have so many quests that I have started and have pieces for that I like to have the extra slots. The other stuff involved with it will be added gray, but not necessary imo. I really feel they should have made DoD more raid freindly to the public, but we will see in the end. The main reason Dod came out was for the MM situation, the spread of ppl getting to 70 from MM though has contradicted the point. People use them to get a char from 1-70 in 2-3 weeks but they still have no idea how to play them. Oh well I will get off the soap box.

vudu u want new bank spots, just start ur own guild and u got a hundred 20 of em. plus regular.

I've been beta testing PoR aint that great IMO and as for bank slots they dont work on beta atm and neither do UIs defualts are not compadible go figure... I just been using it to play around with lvl 70 toons that better geared then me. =P

I think everyone gets the revamped Freeport and Ro's, regardless of whether they buy expansion or not.

would be kind of hard to revamp the Ros and Freeport if everyone didn't get it regardless woul;dn't it? with all the LDoN's based in those zones?
