Out of Commission for several days

Hi all ....for those that don't know...I had to find a new place to live. After much frustration, I finally found a place. I am almost moved in but my landlady (Tunare love her....) doesn't have any "lease agreements" so I have to wait yet another day to get my lease agreement so I can order my cable internet. Not to mention, I have to switch over my PG & E too. If the idiots that had lived there prior to me had paid their bill.....I wouldnt' have to go through this mess.

Anyways .....end result is that I will not have internet back until next weekend at the earliest and I miss you guys and I miss my honey very much. I will be back as soon as possible and in the meantime you might see me on EQIM. /hugs and here is wishing you many victories in my absence.

Ok ....just adding to my dramatic story. The last pieces of my furniture are getting moved tonight....and I get a call from my landlady. Jacqe, PG & E is here and they are turning off your power. FFS!!!!!!!!! I didn't even get my lease but 20 hours prior. And I have the cable people scheduled tomorrow to come turn on my service AND.....I am staying there tonight /cry

So anyways ....the power will be on sometime tomorrow ...hopefully my internet will be working by tomorrow night. Might see you guys on Thursday with any luck.

Well I got most of my stuff moved.....got to my place w/o electricity (it was very dark). Set up my bed and about 3am I fell asleep. I woke up and took a shower by flashlight....after I hunted down some soap and facial cleanser.....THEN....I realized I had no comb! I left my makeup and my comb at the old apartment Mad

So I finger combed my hair and threw it up in a bun and got in my car heading to work when I see the PG&E guy (the power company) and he asked me to stay. I HAVE POWER NOW!!! WOOWOO Smile

So anyways Cable SHOULD be on tonight....unless I have technical difficulties and if I do ...I will call Kaz and have him fix it for me Razz

Hopefully I will have enough energy to play tonight but if I don't ...I will see you Thursday with any luck (that's not my normal run of luck!)

Welp, no internet at home yet. They hooked up my cable, dropped off the self install kit and well ....the previous occupants of my apartment had punched a hole in the wall and split the existing cable wiring IN the wall and so I have no clear signal for the modem to pick up. They are going to have to install another jack....

I know I know ..you guys are not interested in details. The bottom line is that I doubt you will see me online until Saturday.

Turns out that they had 6 splits off the main line behind my apartment and obviously then again split in my wall for a total lack of any viable signal. They split me my own line directly off the main one and I now have cable internet Razz
