For the record....we only did The Rathe Council once as well. Xegony 2 times and Fennin several back in the day. We will have only done him 2 times since we restarted in April 2005.
We do flagging mobs until we feel we have enough flagged for the encounter to move on effectively. Some of our key players missed some flags but we are going to keep moving forward while we have momentum. _________________ It takes talent to lose oneself. Now where was I?

Also think about it this way.
What are the advantages of doing Coirnav again? Keeping in mind we flagged 71 people, which is the majority of our raid force. We're talking about doing a mob that involves a long crawl, high difficulty and mediocre loot for the advantage of perhaps five people that missed it.
It will take us less time to farm the time phased quintessences. It also has a greater chance of success and will flag more people considering it will take care of those that missed more then one event (or any of the four, not just one mob). The loot from phase 4 and up is superior to that of the EP gods as well. There's no real point to going back and doing the EP gods again unless, like Fennin and Xeg, our membership has changed considerably since they were done and we have no choice but to backflag before Time.
The bottom line is, this is the way that will move us fastest and most accurately towards our goal of progression. If you don't like it, door is to your left. And can the attitude...it's getting old. |

Are you going to award with a blind eye to current flags? I'm just curious. As in, would a piggy member with 0-1 flag and so is farther away get a Quint first, just in case someone missing, say, just Fennin gets that flag through some event sometime in the near future and so doesn't "waste" (not really waste, but the connotation is clear) the drop? _________________ Not doing much of anything at the moment... |

I doubt this will be taken into consideration, as we are all from a wide variety of backgrounds, and Management does not want to evaluate the chances that someone can get in on a Xegony Kill, or Rathe Council. the only things taken into consideration were stated earlier from Shieara, Oli and Korinne. Which will be Members with good amount of playtime (current)>Members with lesser playtime>members>aps>guests>traders>Auldaen |

I'm glad you said it Shie. Otherwise, I would have said something to that effect _________________ X <-------my signature |

Not really looking at current flags. If you are unflagged you are unflagged no matter how "close" you are. Especially since I doubt we will do the EP gods again. |

Time sounds like a blast. I personally never thought there was a chance in heck I would see Time, but it looks like I was very very wrong. And trust me, I am extremely happy that I was wrong.
I am one of the few people who still won't have the real access to time, so I will need to mooch one of those quintessences. (My family picked a great time to go to Mexico, right when you guys got the rathe council and coirnav ). I realize that as a fairly new member still, there will be many people ahead of me on the list for the alt access, and I wouldn't expect it any other way, but I will be there for every Time raid I can possibly attend anyway! |

No big deal. I just figured you would want all your beastlords to be flagged. _________________

/growl
I do want all my beastlords flagged. I also want all my rangers, enchanters, clerics, etc. flagged. I want everyone to get flagged...and eventually that will happen. I'd say that everyone who needs one and can raid on weekends will have one by the end of the month. Weekday people I am not sure about, since I think scheduling Time on Wed/Thurs would not work very well. Even with that, we may do part of Time one Wed so that they can get the key.
Just exercise a little patience and you will get one. |
