But there are trees around, and trees do react to noise and are living. So do the trees count as someone is then the real question.

According to the book "The Secret Life of Plants" music and other sounds have an effect on plants, but the information within was not supported with any empirical data. Botanists have failed to find that plants grow better or worse with a particular type of music or sound or that music has any effect on plants. With that said, a tree (being a plant and all) probably hearing another tree fall at anyone time may or may not react. Of course if the fallen tree is bigger and takes all the sunlight from the listening tree, then that tree may be rather happy Smile (Rush fan)

Idea I will take my cactus garden to Ozzfest and see how she feels afterwards. She likes Ozzy.

and btw. Yar Lir probably doesn't like arrows. Rolling Eyes

Ahhh, but according to Mythbusters tests sounds do indeed have a positive growth effect on plants!
