I'm just a purchase away from ya babe:-) Ya know, I'm playing that game where 10 of us could actually be "end game" and we could all have good gear rather than plotting through content from half a decade ago.....no offense intended though:-)

BTW, the new "death knight" is awesome....now if we could only find Wendaen; I tihnk clowns got him!

P.S. - I hope all is well with you and that Brit husband of yours:-) I really need to take a trip to England some day....I'm fairly certain my last name is English and every time I google it I get a bunch of Brits. Who knows, maybe I'm your long lost relative!

Actually the new expansion in EQ has group mobs dropping 700ish hp gear. Its back to old school where you faction and do quest. It makes raiding toough but we have been going to new zones as raid and mass slaughtering for the gear. Its pretty cool maybe you should try it out.

As for being my long lost relative unless you have cajun and texan and indian in you i doubt it. You might be wws long lost cousin. Who knows.

Well quit lurking and come back to play! The game is the funenst its ever been, AH is doing great again (finally!), and it's really easy to PL and gear you ol' players back up.

Not only is it easier to get people re-geared and lvled up now with the mercs I no longer suffer as a ranger trying to find a group in the strange hours that I play. I now have a cleric merc that just follows me around and heals me, IT IS AWSOME! This is deffinatly the bet time I have had in the game since I was in my 20s, come back and enjoy the fun. Plus, as my wife has noticed, all the crack pot creeps in the game that where imature and doofish have diappered, guess they went to WoW, lol.

It's level 75 but that's really not hard any more. They've added a lot of self-power leveling features tot he game - potions, mercenaries, high exp hotzones, etc. If you Want to do it then there's no reason not to. Oh also they made it so AAs are obtained faster the lower level you are, which makes it a great time to create new characters!

It really is a great time to come back to EQ! The new mercenaries follow you around and depending on if you got a healer or a warr either heal you while you fight or fight for you. Anyway SoE seems to be doing their darndest to make it easier and fun to level up. Also most of the keyed or flagged zones no longer require the keys (just the last couple expansions do still).
My current schedule no longer allows for all night sessions like the one Kor may remember in Direwind but I'm willing to help anytime I'm on and not raiding

Okay...so I did it. I reactivated mine and my wifes account. I logged on- only to find out that OMFg...I don't remember how to play. Is there a site I can find out all the button commands and such? I couldnt even remember how to pull up my guild window.

I think I'mma be in a world of hurt trying to remember all the crap that was going on w/ my RNG before retirement...

I don't know of a site with that info really however hopefully this will be all you need to know.

Windows:
Alt O - opens options (the Keys tab will tell you the other hotkeys)
I - opens inventory
V - opens the AA window
Alt G - Guild window
Alt F - Friends

Click on a chat window text bar so you get a text cursor and type:
/tell wdarby hey man
/gui hey anyone in this guild still?
/join afterhours:password - (this will create chat channel numbered 1)
/1 hey people in afterhours!
/ignore wdarby

Once you get in the afterhours channel we can answer any other questions from there!

P.S. Ranger is still the best class to pick, and Paladins are still the rez fodder.

Also in PoK on the good side I believe there is a group of NPC that are new that where put in during living legacy that will tell you how to do everything. It is seperated into the four different NPCs so you dont get overwhelmed with all the info on one NPC.
