So that will be 10pm est right? If so I will try to make it, gonna be a long time in my chair tonight, lol.
Considering I have never been to PoTime before please treat me as a newb in there. I have read all about it but never had the luxuroy to kill anything/group there, took my break from EQ when AH was just starting to do it semi ocassionally, have all my key pieces minus the earth one still sitting in the bank.
This is gonna be sweet.
Is there a good walk through to refresh my memory about the way it works from P1 on? Please post it here if anyone has one, thank you. _________________ 85 Ranger|85 Shaman

We should meet inside TimeA actually, since we can just port straight there from guild hall.
Quick run down:
Phase1 is split into 5 areas. Each area can hold up to 18 people (really only need a tank+healer for each these days though). Each of the areas has different things going on but the basic tactic is the same for all of them, kill any adds before the named. some have adds that split into more adds, some pop adds at different % hp of the named.
Phase2 combines into 3 areas, just lots of mobs and then some named.
Phase3 everyone is back together for the fun zone with lots and lots of mobs that come in waves with mini nameds in most waves. After all the waves are done, 2 big stonegrabbers pop. _________________

Sorry Acoma, your going to be disappointed with the vast majority of time now... Still, its an adventure though. Go new places, meet new people and kill them. What more could you want? _________________

Well, not sure if binding outside is all that necessary now. The reason we used to do that is because doing P1 events we didn't have 5 sets of people, 1 per event, and had to TL out and run back in.
But all the events P1-P3 are just normal level, and at 85 any 1 group we put in there will be sufficient.
It should be fun to try, but 1 warning however. . . the fabled mobs only drop 1 piece of fabled loot each, except Quarm, who drops a ton (11?) of stuff. So you spend the whole time trying to fight your way to the big payload! |

According to Alla, fabled time mobs up to quarm will drop 1 fabled item + 3 regular and quarm will drop 3 fabled items + 3 regular.
Will be fun just to go, maybe I can get the shaman turgus stick on a Bonus.
I bet back in the day this was a hella zone to clear. Sloted for a 12 hour raid if I did the time right, wow, would have been a real blast back when lvl 65 was highest. At least nothing DT in time, hehe, right? _________________ 85 Ranger|85 Shaman

Also i want to encourage to all people to join this raid, max numbers are 72 so there is plenty of room.
The fabled time gods are way too hard from normal versions in planes so all support is needed. _________________

And IIRC about 50% of the trash is HSable, 25% is undead, and the rest is neither. Rangers, pallies and AEers get to have fun! _________________ http://www.spamhelp.org/harvesterkiller/ |

Did we ever decide if we could just meet in PoTa that way the non binding classes can get in via the herald of Druzzil or the guild port? Hell I am not even sure where the port is in PoTranq, lol. _________________ 85 Ranger|85 Shaman

There shouldn't be any need for us to have people gate and move to different P1 trials. Even if we did need to have a group or 2 move between them, just stick a wiz/druid with the group that can port directly to TimeA. _________________

Was kind of a disappointmnet but it was still the first time that I had ever been there. Not sure what I was expecting, maybe to die more, but I still thought it was a very interesting scripted event.
Dear lord it was long though, hehe, I now see why people stopped doing it once there where newer zones to go to. I bet in the old days this was a whole day event, like PoSky was when it first came out, still have nightmares about that.
Thanks for a great first trip to Time AH and I hope all had fun. Makes me want to hit the emporer in SSZRA next, hehe another good old time friend and he is lvl 85. _________________ 85 Ranger|85 Shaman

Seriously, that is one event that I have always wanted to do myself. If only for nostalgic purposes. _________________

It was for us. The only time I did PoTime in 1 day, it was Noon on a Saturday, and we got done about 10:30 pm. |

Haha, and I have a hard enough time sitting in front of my computer station to play eq for 5 hours. I guess if I had the laptop on the couch instead of playing both at the station and the entire family was out of town, and I had leftover BBQ ribs and potato salad, a full cooler of beer near the couch I might be able to make it through that event. _________________ 85 Ranger|85 Shaman
