i noticed something in posts i see stars on peeps avitar area some people have none some have 1 or more what are they for i have one on my avitar block right after where it says AH member above my avitar of the flying dragons is it becouse i am so Cool lol Laughing

or is it some kind of reward for something i did good Surprised

I do believe this is an indicator of rank on the website. More stars, the more rank/permissions.

actually I wondered that myself. I had been on some forums where it was just post count indication. though that did not seem to be the case here.

I think Aleax is right. I have no stars, but the word 'Officer' where the stars should be.

I only say that because before I was made site admin I only had 1 star and 10,000+ post count

First, you talk WAY too much Aleax.

Second, a cursory examination of the forums shows that there IS a heirarchy, though it seems a little confusing. Officers seem to have no stars, but SLs have 4. Members have 1, and Admin has 5 stars. Raid Leaders have 6 stars. It's odd, since Wwein is an officer AND a raid leader that he has no stars, yet Acoma has 6. CLS have no stars, I guess that makes us Officers...
Someone gets 3 stars? Or 2? Just curious, I've not been able to find them as yet.

It appears that the forum "rank" has undergone some changes over the years. I found one rank "newb" for Naylyn, but obviously there are many more of us out there...

Admins can create the different rank names. For example I made the Class Leader title which you use. I didn't see any options for the stars so by default it may be 0 stars for the rank title. Perhaps whomever before me created the officer title did the same.

Alternatively I did see some admin pages on the site a while ago that mentioned points - points earned for making posts, submitting news etc. IIRC it was turned off, but then the stars could have been earned previously?
