Everquest New Expansion in November: Underfoot 16th expansion
A series of events will be rolling out. Doing events gets a credit to allow you to get the expansion early
The video shown during Fan Faire was mostly concept art. I guess which means the expansion is very rough.
Brell Serilis Underground Layer
12-15 zones.. and bonus content to launch later in April
achievement tracking.. to track progression (more intuitive progression tracking)
twice as many weapons as any expansions
focused targeting window.. so you can monitor health of friend or foe..
There is no level increase for EverQuest: Underfoot.
SoD hard modes (only 36 PCs allowed to participate) are coming soon. |

Here's the deal with "hard mode" raids.
All SoD raids will be getting a hard mode. This hard mode is a lowering of the maximum number of participants from 54 to 36. There may be some slight modifications to what drops in the hard mode raid from what drops in the standard raid, along with the addition of some new drops for non-visible equipment slots that are very good items.
The hard mode raids are on separate timers from the standard raids.
We MAY make hard mode versions of future raids. We may even make hard versions of older raids, though NO plans for that are in the works right now.
This DOES NOT indicate a plan to lower the raid size.
This is additional content for those that found SoD to be too easy and are looking for new things to do, new challenges to attempt. It was a relatively easy way to provide another tier of challenge without severe demand on our resources.

Thats great to hear no level increases ... yet lol. Mean the few of us slackers that haven't made it to 85 still have time.
New content is always a + in my book. More quests and progression I can take or leave but enjoy a good quest. _________________

I think even the queen mal one might be doable by 36. Each time we've wiped it was from human error, not lack of heals/dps/tanking.
36 person raids will be the exception for us though I expect given our numbers, but would be fun to do from time to time or on off nights. _________________ http://www.spamhelp.org/harvesterkiller/ |

All I want is more bank space, I want to be able to play every class that eq has on 1 account without having to delet toons to make another one, a new player race would be cool and fix the scalling on Tradeskills.
I would buy that expansion, not sure if I will get underfoot or just wait till the one after and get both for the price of one. _________________ 85 Ranger|85 Shaman

I want offline trader mode
I've got a bazaar mule with a completely filled inventory and bank. I just never have time to put him up to sell stuff. _________________

I want all those things the rest of you mentioned, and a way to drag and drop items directly to alt's banks without having to log and switch to them each time. And a clicky window to drop your clicky items into which eats the item but allows you to cast clickies directly from there. Oh and unfoldable artisan bag in the bank which stores all your tradeskill things. _________________ http://www.spamhelp.org/harvesterkiller/ |

Now this Idea I like, we should petition this one. One bag that would hold all my tradeskill crap and I would not need more bank space. _________________ 85 Ranger|85 Shaman

How about virtual reality goggles and an ear piece... then we can "sit" with our significant others while they're watching TV or whatever and still play... |

They are making the next hotzone set to include Frostcrypt. I'm sure some paladins will enjoy it. |

solo, I was unimpressed in FC exp wise, though I don't have the undead boost on my zerker as a pally does. I was killing about 22-25 mobs in in about 28-30 minutes. I doubt that was even 1 aa. I do about as well on kill rates fighting dark blues in MG, but the mobs are higher level and higher exp per kill. /shrug |

And other threads at EQtraders covers these things on a fairly ongoing and regular basis ( that being, I've not perused the forums here much lately so...I could certainly be wrong and out of touch on this ). What I've come to realize is that the code monkeys have given up on the idea of re-writing code in regards to bag slots and storage, other than to give us more bank slots. Yes, this frustrates me to no end, being that I am a pack-rat and have basically maxed out bank space on 16 toons. /shrug whatcha gonna do? |

You can always dump all your Tradeskill stuff off on me cause I am a Tradeskill Junkie, it lets me play the game without being involved so I can still watch the kids or do other things if I have to without worrying about dying or killing someone by being AKF. I do tradeskills on all my toons. _________________ 85 Ranger|85 Shaman
