Buphie, I've never had a queue on Garona since yesterday early on, but then again with all the chaos today, who knows lol. _________________ Not doing much of anything at the moment...

Noarth and I are staying in EQ, there is so much we haven't done and seen, plus we have spent time and good money on EQ1. We still enjoy playing and having fun doing it, when it comes down to not having fun like I was in CS then it will be time to go.
I always get a kick out of the "Sony screws the players" theme, sure I've had my frustrations with Sony and the GM's. If I really wanted to do some payback best thing I could do is cancel my account instead of complaining and playing. Can't imagine sitting day in and day out doing something that would make me mad, life is way too important than that.
I went to EQ because it was a "proven" MMORG, I wouldn't want to lay the money down that we have on a "unproven" game. I hope WoW and EQ2 do well and don't flop like the other MMORG's have, that would really bite to lay the pp down to have it flop then shut down.
EQ2 does look very good, I have done some research on it and if we ever did switch to a different game it would probely be this one. WoW wouldn't hold much interest when I checked it out it looked more like EQ1 with better graphics and pretty much same game line. In saying that I'm sure Blizzard has done its homework, I have played Warcraft and Starcraft from beginning to end and they were great fun, Blizzard knows how to entertain.
GL to everyone who is dropping EQ1, hope one day we cross game paths again, we have met alot of great people in EQ1 you will be missed!
Well, Vol and the rest of Sun Clan, it looks like MC will be establishing itself on the Lightbringer server, which is a Pacific Server. It's gotten to where I have already memorized all the dwarf/gnome newbie quests, neither Blitzel or I wish to do them again, any time soon. _________________
Welp, Krelis broke down and bought WoW so he can dink around a bit during the one-month free trial. He, my other roommate (Thomrin), and I each created our characters on the Pacific - Dragonblight server (all with our EQ main names). Seeing as though they don't have feline PCs in WoW and the most furry class (Taurens) aren't very sneaky, I decided to make Haiew an Undead Rogue. Anyway, I don't think I'll be playing him at all until school's out mid-December, but I thought I'd tell you what I created.

Kaeliana - Yes, Mystic Crusaders is Alliance.
Buphie - Thanks again for inviting Gnomepower.
Man, I'm already way too addicted to that game. But alas, school calls and I shant be playing near so much as I did yesterday/today... Until mid-December!

Yes Kael, we are Alliance. We do intend to start a Horde guild when the demand is there. I am thinking Caustic Crusaders. If you know us, you know that fits...anyway, come join us! AH members don't need to fill out an application, just send me or Rescix (Meowzah) a whisper letting us know who you are in WoW and we'll invite ya. I better go let him know... *whistles merrily* _________________
babe, i got a 1.2 ghz pentium three with 256 megs of ram and a 64 meg nvidia geforce 2 - and that's is as good as i am going to have for a while! Could it handle WoW? Besides, I got family in EQ....
If your system can handle EQ1, it can likely handle WoW. The game scales itself to your system, and does not penalize you by withholding character models if you fall below a memory limit. Besides... you have family in WoW too. Direct from the game box: system requirements, Intel Pentium III 800 MHz or Athlon 800 MHz, 256 MB RAM, 32 MB 3D graphics card with hardware T & L, such as Nvidia GeForce 2 or above...
It will handle WoW. My brother plays on a system similar to yours actually, though he has more ram and a slightly better video card. One thing that I do like about Blizzard is that they usually do a good job of making sure lower end systems can run their games. You probably won't be able to play with all the options on, but honestly I don't see a huge difference between the graphics Jeff (my bro) gets on his pc and what I see on mine. Also we tested playing on his system using a dialup connection. Other then the normal lag due to the fact that Blizzard is having item database issues there really weren't any huge problems. I'm not sure how it would handle a large raid situation though because we didn't run into a large group of people that night.
So anyways if you are interested I would give it a try. I'm pretty sure it will run.
