We got her to around 6% on our next try.. so we are improving.
Will try her again in a few weeks when we have geared up a little more. _________________

I feel very confident that we will get her next time. The spiderlings kinda suprised us when they popped earlier then expected. The REALLY nasty suprise was that they are not mezzable. They were stunnable however and after two AE stuns I was able to get thier attention.
I really really thought we were gonna win. I starting running with spiderlings after me at around 12%. I was actually going 'were gonna win, were gonna win, were gonna..........O'FUDGE THIS IS A DEAD END." /splat.
Was definently a good learning experience though. We have learned something new and revised our tactics every time we have done her. I honestly think that she will be ours next time.
One thing is for sure though. Baulz is a must. He is the only one of use at the moment that can stand up to that kind of damage. |

I agree with Ghraa. We have improved and gotten closer each time we have tried her. Now that we have a plan in place and are prepared for the attack of the spiderlings, I think we will win on the next attempt. We'll try her in a few weeks after we have geared up a bit as well too.
Actually, this is one thing I really like about EQ and raiding. It is fun to have to kind of try to figure out ways to do things a bit unconventionally. I also like trying tough encounters just to see how we do. Even though I died on both attempts I really had a blast on Volkara...the most fun I have had on a raid for weeks. RZ is a hard encounter too but I am too busy to have fun during that one. Anyways, like I said we will win next try. |

Another thing on the second try... most of us (that have them) had used our damage veteran AA's on the first try, and didn't have them to use on the second. While it may seem small, that definitely would have been a huge benefit in the second fight. |

that is far from small that would have been the final 6% im sure, even them rocks that warriors throw add to the dmg even if its 1 dmg...
1 dmg is better then none, i still use that rock throw thing at 25 with my war.
i didnt get the vet aas for dohi, bought them for the chanter though, who i dont play all that often. |

You should have veteran AA's for both actually. If you get 2 years worth then its works for 2 character. 3 years = 3 characters, etc.
Unless you've only been playing for 1 year then you have veteran AA's on at least 2 characters. Just need to claim them dohi. |
