We will be using Class Leads very heavily in the raiding to come. I have a tentative list of leads and they are based not only on skill and knowledge but attendance. Leadership shown in past raids has been considered here. No "reward" or extra anything is given to these people other than your respect and immediate obedience
Qualities of a Class Lead:
- Know your class. This person knows their class inside and out, so if they tell you to do something trust them...they know what they are talking about.
- Experienced raider. This person is someone that has raided many times and often knows the encounters better than I do.
- Leadership. This person has shown that they can lead by example and be trusted to guide others of their same class during raids.
Responsibilities of a Class Lead:
- Reports directly to the raid leader
- Will be in several channels simultaneously and must be responsive and reactive almost instantly
- Must be able to coordinate class defining acts (i.e. CH loops for clerics, SotW rotations and debuffs for druids, etc etc.)
- Regular raid attendance. We can't depend on you to lead your class if you are only here once a month. So regular attendance is necessary to be a class lead.
- Responsible for the acts of everyone in the raid of your class. Be aware of what your people are doing and communicate to them so they know what is expected. If your class isn't doing what it is supposed to, I am going to come to you to fix it or have an answer as to why.
If I haven't contacted you about this position and you think you have what it takes (THIS IS NOT the same as squad leader) then please PM me. _________________ It takes talent to lose oneself. Now where was I?
