It was fairly close but nay. We got him down to about 20%. I think with a second try we would have had em. Baulz when splat ooooh so quick right off the bat and that hurt.
I found out the hard way that even NOT nuking, NOT debuffing and generally not doing anything to piss him off, one MGB rune is near suicidal and went down with him at 60%.
We had 16 people in on the fight. All things considered I think we really did great. Was impressed how close we came. I really think we will have em on our next attempt.

Wow. First time I did it with LoP, we had 26, and only got him to 40%. We did succeed with 40 people on the second try.
One cool thing they did was bring up piggies to the chamber and IMMEDIATELY have them camp without leaving the raid. They logged in on alts and stayed in the channel. Then, after Sol Ro was dead, they had them log in, join the raid, hail, and drop raid. We might want to consider something similar.

We would have done that if we had had the required 32 people. We didn't have slots for piggies at all. The people that did the alt quest to get access to SRT were considered piggies. Under the 1 per 6 rules 3 piggies were allowed up. We actually could have done Sol Ro with 16, we had a minor technical difficulty with positioning and resists since we used our veteran rewards early. Baulz went down early because I was trying to reposition to avoide the AE and was OOR for healing Shieara tanked him for a long long time...and Baulz was back up for DD by about 60% I believe. I druid rezzed him. Good job to the rangers that WS tanked him. PT actually truly tanked him for a while as well. I think that Shieara and her pet actually tanked him the longest and did well with dmg mitigation. _________________ It takes talent to lose oneself. Now where was I?
