The loss of a parent is always hard at this time of the year, Dad's birthday was the 24th, he would have been 75...
It gets easier with time, of course I took to cleaning and reorganizing the garage to keep myself busy this year  |

I am so glad to hear from you Striatus. I've been very worried about you the last few weeks and everyone has been asking around about you. I know what it can be like to lose someone who means so much so close to the holidays. Trib lost her mother shortly before thanksgiving and a month before our first daughter was born and as we were moving into our first home back in 2001. Talk about a screwed up holiday season.
Take your time and work through what you need to work through but just know we really do miss you and hope to see you as soon as we can. |

I'm glad to hear you're doing well. My first cousin died in a car crash several years ago on 12/23 and the holidays just seem to make a horrible thing 100x worse. I know there is nothing that any of us can say to make things better, but just know that we're all here in case you ever need anyone to talk to or you just want to blow off some steam.

Family comes first man. I lost my dad last year so I understand the work that comes with stuff like this. GL and hope to see you soon.
