For those who don't know Tribblelet very well her RL name is Becky. For the last several months we been having troubles with her pregnancy and many of our great friends and extended family in EQ have been keeping tabs. Well...that time is sadly over. Instead of alot of /tells in the game from all of our good friends who have been concerned about us I thought I would post here the latest happenings. I hope noone minds.
Becky is doing ok and is at my mother and fathers for now.
There apparently was a blood clot outside the placental wall. They don't know what caused it to form but the doctors explained it was an irritant. The more it irritated the more becky bled. The more she bled, the more it irritated and so on. It was a slow process over the course of the last few months. Early Wednesday morning her body just couldn't take it anymore and Becky went into labor. Winifred Laura Epling was born before her tiny body had developed any lungs and she never had even a chance to live. She was perfect in every other way.
Due to how far away ETSU's woman health center is from home the hospital and the nurses were kind enough to let us take her home with us rather than wait and have a funeral home transport her as is usual. I am so thankful to them for this since it gives us a short amount of time alone with her to say our goodbyes that we normally would not have had.
As much as it breaks my heart that she will be so phyically far away from us, we have decided to lay her to rest alongside Becky's mother in Mt. Sterling, Ky. It will be a small intimate service with just a few family and close friends.
No man, no matter his sins, should ever have to watch his own child lowered into the ground. |

I'm so sorry this had to happen. Even typing this, it seems so inconsequential, but please know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers.
If there is anything I can do, please let me know. |

There are no words I could express to you to console the grief I know you feel. I'll only say that I'll keep your family in my prayers.
May God be with you in this time!

Very deeply sorry to hear about your tribbulations. Since your orignal post I've debated whether sharing a similar story would help or whether I should leave well enough alone. I've decided I should share the experience in the hopes that it will help. I have a friend who went through the same thing, Twice... After much debate, family and medical advice taken into consideration, they opted to try a Third time. Although at first it looked as if the same bed rest complications would occur, she managed to carry to full term and had a beautiful baby girl. Followed by another the following year and another the year after that. Nothing I can say will dampen the loss you feel, but hopefully knowing that others have gone through a similar experience and come out on the other side with a devoted loving family will encourage your spirits. God bless,
Lacomb |
