Could someone please clarify this regarding when the On Time Bonus DKP is awarded, or not. It seems to be inconsistent with some nights it's awarded and some it's not. Thanks in advance. |

my understanding is, it is up to the raidleader's discretion. My guess is the more raidleaders have to plead in channel to get people to on the move so the raid can leave on time at 8 pm pst, the more they are going to reward the ones who were there early. There are some people who are waiting 1 hour early, regularly...it is unfair to the ones who take the time to be a little early to have to wait for an extra 20-30 mins while stragglers make their way over to the raid. If insufficient numbers are at the raid at the 8 pm pst OTM, then there really are only 2 choices, delay or cancel the raid. |

Seems I was neglected from making the On Time list on the 4th, 5th, 6th of last week.
Friday I was with a Squad Leader in MPG on time but I believe that SL had yet to be added to the Raid.
Thursday I met Sorcier in the usual PoT spot while the raid was gathering in MPG and 3 of us ported and zoned in prior to the top of the hour.
Wed I have no idea.
So I guess I need to inquire here if we're supposed to bonk the Raid Leader or something to make it into the early dump data. |

I know Kor answered earlier that it was at 8:00 sharp - but I thought it was always at 7:45 sharp.
I have never awarded one though so I am not 100% sure.
I thought Vudu usually did it, and I thought it was usually at 7:45. In fact I think I remember a li'l debate about whether to call it an early bonus instead of an on time bonus for that reason. _________________

Aye, I recall parking on a driveway and driving on a parkway. Oli is right, 7:45 rather than 8. |

Think that's why this thread was started. I know some were taking the "on-time" bonus "early". Just because it was done early by some doesn't mean that was correct. Korinne posted here that the on-time bonus is supposed to be taken at 8:00pm. That wasn't a mistake on her behalf. She was posting that here to correct others. The "On-time" bonus should not be taken early. And that's that. |

Ok to clarify....apparently there was some confusion.
There was discussion about ontime and early bonuses. The decision (I thought) was to only do an ontime bonus because of the issues with some people not being able to log on early and thus it was the REASON they were in AH. Ontime bonuses are at 8pm PST sharp. Early bonuses are at 7:45pm.
If you were not included in an ontime bonus and should have been, simply send me a PM and I will make the correction. It's really not a huge deal and can be corrected in moments. _________________ It takes talent to lose oneself. Now where was I?

This is the first time I have ever heard of an "early" bonus... The original discussion in the SL channel was triggered by taking the "on time" bonus at 7:45. I even recall who took the "on time" bonus and what we were raiding as I had to reboot due to lag issues and missed the "on time" raid dump even though I was "early" but the "on time" bonus was taken while I rebooted. If you follow me... All of the previous "on time" raid dumps were taken at 7:45... this has been an issue with me for the longest. But thanks for the clarification... |

Hey I'm not trying to stir anything up here, I just thought that Vdaen inquired and was answered and that the practice didn't follow the answer. I'm not going to debate it one way or the other, I just want to know what it IS. |

Actually that's incorrect. The on time bonus was only for folks there at 7:45. This thread is the first I ever heard about it being taken at 8:00. _________________

Just call it the "Not Late Bonus" and it won't matter if it's 7:45 or 8:00 _________________
