I was wary of doing raids on grouo content originally, and it took us a week to really get the rules and strats down for it, but I think they're working out very well now. As i was entering in the raids tonight I realised we made 13 loots in all...not rot loots we slapped on an app or box, but upgrades that raiders will be using for a long while!

We're very gradually learning which zones are good to bring a raid to, where named pop etc. But I know many of you group in these zones normally, so please post anything you know to save us from a night we no named, or unpleasant wipes!

Tonight's was just as good. Fewer loots, something like 6 drops inc spells, but much better quality. 700+ hp/mana/end gear and weapons only marginally weaker than TSS/Solt level. I'd like to work people up the void ranks so we can cash in on the incandescences we're looting, and we should all be very nicely geared much faster than I'd dreamed.

working people up the Void ranks will take a bit of planning. While there are not all that many missions and tasks to complete for each void access, there are some that are group missions, and at least one that takes a mezzer (bugged mob who regens 100%) for void C access, and maybe more later that take a particular group mix as they get harder.

Often AH can zerg these kind of things by throwing many people at the script and beating it that way, but in the case if the group missions, you can only take 6 into the mission. AH is strong enough to do all of them, but the logistics of getting everyone through six at a time will take some work if AH is going to take on the responsibility of getting these done for it's people.

I still need the bugged mission to complete void C, and am willing to help others with the earlier stuff if I am free.

If we can't do it as a raid we could always announce a weekend which we will try to push everyone into void B, say. That'll give everyone the chance to be there for it, and folks can redo the mission several times over to help their fellow man - i suspect it gets easier the more times you do them Smile.

What we used to do with six-man stuff was plan a night and form as many groups as we could to run the mission. People who did not need them showed up to help. Everyone got DKP. We did that with Tipt flagging iirc and a few other things.

The bad thing is there were not always even numbers so sometimes some folks got left out, but my experience was that those people were cool with it, knowing it was opening up stuff to the entire organization.
