DKP / TIER TRACK

This is the track for the new DKP system, remember: if you get 20 x in raid missed your tier resets to 1.

Where did you get the DKP and starting tier from? The dkp page has me at 79.60 dkp tier 27

Remember, the DKP listed on the DKP list will be accurate, but the tier's should now be ignored as they're calculated in the old manner (a simple conversion of dkp/3 +1). Hasseo's list will keep the tier's up to date.

DKP removed to avoid confusion, this list only keep tiers, raids missed and wins.

Notes:
1. Group content nights count like 1 target, so no targets column.
2. Open nights loot is RND, so no Wins column (that will be removed next time)

i didnt get credit for last nights raids.. was purplesun even there? i think you might have missed and upddated purple instead of me.. we only had one chanter i knew of and that was aleax

mine said, end tier 04-02-09 "2" plus 3 targets on 05-02-09 equal to "2" again? is correct it?

I just got the email from you guys or i wouldn't even be here. I'm in Iraq at the moment. I'm just wandering if my tier will reset or if it will stay till i get back. I understand if you reset it I just want to clarify if it will be a case by case or if the standard is set and there will be no exceptions. No I am not asking you to keep my tier as it is just for clarification.

Yes, your tier will be reset after the 21st missed raid (approximately 3 weeks).

When writing the rules for Tier reset we had a good long debate on this very issue. We didn't want to penalize people for extenuating circumstances, but if we were going to make case-by-case exceptions then we'd need to come up with a host of rules on what does and does not count.

In short, we determined the best all-round solution was to make tier gain/reset such a fast process that tier resets really wouldn't matter too much. This is due to tiers being earned for every raid, and because gainng tiers is a process of diminished returns (ie a tier 5 raider who becomes tier 6 has boosted his chance to loot more than a tier 50 raider who becomes tier 51).

So if real life hits in some unexpected way, or you just want a holiday, then don't worry about it! Come back, spend about a week or two raiding with us, and you'll be in a better shape to loot than when you left.

Remember, tier reset occurs every time you win a loot, and that DKP is NOT reset in this manner. Taking an absence and losing your tiers has the exact same effect as winning 1 piece of loot.
