It looks like this part might be a hold-up. Will most likely need a group to get them all.

Once you have access to the Mansion go talk to the Warmarshal and he offers you a task to explore the mansion. You will need to visit 5 spots total, none of which are trivial to reach. You can add these lines to your map file to mark your destinations:

P 150, -516, -75, 0, 127, 0, 3, Compression_Room
P -10, -655, 0, 0, 127, 0, 3, Glass_Wall
P 0, -190, 4, 0, 127, 0, 3, Grease_Fountain
P 325, -355, 105, 0, 127, 0, 3, Steam_Stage
P -45, -685, -92.5, 0, 127, 0, 3, Graveyard

You can easily get the updates solo. The only things that see invis are the blobs (not hard to avoid) and the undead in the basement (just eat a death for the last update. You were probably going back to the lobby after this anyways :p )

Yep, I was going to suggest shrouding to 70 rogue and use SoS to creep around and get the updates.

Both invises is very useful for the graveyard room. Basically have a cleric (pallies too?) cast group IVU AA just as a ranger/druid casts group camo. If you time it right, you get both, and have half an hour to run around without ivu or regular mobs seeing you. Alternatively, use DA for that graveyard update, though be careful as many have trouble finding the exact update spot in the room. IIRC its a few steps directly forward as you enter the room.

as do clerics... the problem is it is instant cast and hard to time with the druid instant cast invis. I have done it... once, but it was sheer luck. Instead I find using the cleric timed ivu instead of the AA works better.. start casting it then pop druid instant invis is so much easier.

Only certain group fixed/permenant invises stack in this manner. The cleric one isn't insta cast, it's just a fast cast (you do get a spell bar briefly pop up). What I do with me and scaredof is tap Scaredof's IVU AA and then immediately tap Wwein's shared camo. You don't have to follow any visual cues such as waiting for a spell bar or buff icon. Simply taps cleric AA and immediately tap ranger one a fraction later.

Aleax's is very right about the IVU group spell which works in the same way and is also fixed. Duh I sure did forget about the necro IVU AA but I don't know if it has a cast time, and this only works on ones with cast times. It's also worth saying that bardlings have it great. Bards can IVU potion and then fade to be invisible to undead and normal mobs without any of the fuss!

I'll try that this weekend. I always forget about those shrouds, I never use the things.

Small problem I had with elevator room. Never used it before. But if the elevator is up top and you try to open the door at the bottom, you'll get an error emote and the door won't open.

You must wait a minute or so for it to come back down, then try to open door again.

Well that will be my next try then. I died 4 times so far (twice as myself, twice as rogue shroud), still haven't got the graveyard update done. Can't seem to hit the right spot fast enough before I die.

On the plus side, I found a named blob up at the basement entrace and got a steamcore Wink

okay.. so the trick to the graveyard update is simple... there is one biomass that wanders from the graveyard room to the steam compression room and back. Enter from the steamfactory entrance and get past the first room by carefully avoiding the static biomass there. Wait in the hallway until you see the biomass go into the steam compression room (first left). When it does, run by with sneak/hide on and enter the graveyard room. NOTHING will see thru the rogue sneak/hide except that damn wandering biomass. The update is almost straight in from the door. You will see a reclining chair much like a dentist chair in front of you, thats where the update is right on the otherside of the chair (corner nearest you as you pass the chair). If you time the biomass correctly, it is easy to run in there, get the update and run back out before the biomass paths back to the graveyard. If your not fast enough, no big deal. Just run to the far corner of the graveyard room (furthest from door) and wait for the biomass to path back to steam compression room.

Just one side note, these biomass's have the most incredibly large agro radius so steer clear of them.

I'm doing it wrong then. I get killed by the undead stuff everytime I get close in graveyard room. Can't say I play a rogue. . .

It's been a long long time since I used a rogue shrowd but I remember it worked very different to how I remembered it. I had been expecting a clicky AA called SoS which I'd click. Instead it was some combination of hide and sneak... Like I had to use the hide ability, and then sneak? Someone else please pipe up with the answer because I just don't remember Sad

shrouds do NOT get SoS, only basic sneak and hide.

you can't move while hiding unless also sneaking, and you can't activate them while moving (real rogues with AAs can though).

make sure you aren't moving, click sneak, then click hide.

Hide, is nothing more than invis and invis to undead together.

Sneak is somewhat special. when behind a mob and sneaking, it will always be indifferent, even if it sees through hide. so be careful when running around and conning mobs. One that is indifferent may just have it's back to you and can aggro when you go around it. When conning, watch for the message "You suspect this being can see you" (I'm not certain the shrouds get this is or not, but con the blobs and see)

Yep, you get that message with shrouds...

Zac, I'd be happy to walk you through it if you like. To date, I have helped 6 people get the flags and have it down to a fine science now.
